Acute Rehabilitation Services, quality rehabilitation care for individuals who need therapy and medical management in Illinois — close to home and family, is available on our Acute Rehab Unit at Saint Clare’s Hospital, 915 East Fifth Street.
Advantages of Acute Rehab at Saint Clare’s Hospital:
- Offers efficient, on-site pre-admission screening
- Is a hospital-based, intensive program of rehabilitation with a minimum of three hours of therapy per day
- Features a physician on-site daily for supervision & a 24-hour registered nurse on duty
- Includes a physician specialist, board-certified in Rehabilitation Medicine
- Uses a strong, coordinated interdisciplinary team approach with weekly care conferences to coordinate and individualize treatment
- Has state-of-the-art rehab technology, like Bioness — only available at Saint Clare’s
- Specializes in stroke rehab and recovery
- Is the only faith-based facility in the area that includes pastoral care services to meet patient/family spiritual needs.
- Focuses on return to independence with exceptional outcomes. Over 80% of patients return home.
