Medical Chief of Staff

Larry Reed, M.D., Radiologist, was recently appointed Chief of Staff at Saint Anthony's Health Center, at a recent general staff meeting of Saint Anthony’s Medical Staff. New officers also include: Salvador LoBianco, M.D., Intensivist, as Vice-Chief, and Edward Blair, Jr., M.D., Internist, as Secretary/Treasurer.

Dr. Reed, a member of the Alton medical community since 1986, graduated with a Bachelor of Science/Honors, Master of Science/Honors, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1982 and is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. A member of the International Spinal Injection Society, he is committed to providing advanced interventional radiological procedures and pain management.

Current Department Chairs of the Medical Staff include: Joseph Talsky, M.D., Chair of OB/GYN; Janis Robinson, M.D., Chair of Pediatrics; Raj Patel, M.D., Chair of Medicine; Sam Figueroa, M.D., Chair of Anesthesia; Larry Reed, M.D., Chair of Radiology; and Bruce Vest, Jr., M.D., Chair of Surgery.
