Saint Anthony's Auxiliary has grown in vitality and is one of the most effective service organizations in the Alton area, with a total membership of over 300.
Management of the Auxiliary is vested in the Board, which consists of elected officers and appointed committee chairmen. They meet once a month to conduct business and discuss fundraisers.
Saint Anthony's Auxiliary Opportunities:
AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP AND VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS New membership in the Auxiliary is open to anyone interested in the objectives of this Auxiliary, after a commitment to volunteer for a minimum of 6 months. The age requirement for active, in-hospital volunteers is 18 years of age and over. Prospective volunteers are interviewed by the volunteer coordinator.
Types of Membership:
- Active Membership: shall be open to those who participate in the work of the Auxiliary and volunteer at least 75 hours per year, attend the required safety orientations, and pay the annual dues of $5.
- Associate Membership: shall be open to those who wish to make contributions of $10 annually. This entails no obligation, but such Associate Members are welcome to participate in activities to an extent they desire.
- Individual Life Membership: shall be open to those who contribute $100 within a space of two consecutive years. A life member may choose to be either an Active or Associate member without further payment of dues.
