Clinical Education Program
Thank you for choosing Saint Anthony's Health Center for your clinical education experience. The Therapy Services Department accepts students in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Speech-Language Pathology programs.
Our goal is to provide a safe, experienced clinical site where you can develop your skills and apply your education to the treatment of patients with a variety of diagnoses, through multiple levels of care. We currently take students in the following settings: Outpatient, Inpatient Acute, Extended Care Facility and Acute Rehab. Students will have the opportunity to work with Chronic and Acute orthopedic injuries, neurological diagnoses, as well as have the opportunity to observe such specialties as lymphedema management, vestibular rehab, sports medicine, hand injuries, pediatrics and Bioness for the upper and lower extremity.
Professional Casual Dress is required at our facility. You may want to bring a lab coat but this is not required.
You will attend general hospital orientation on your first morning, followed by departmental orientation with the CCCE or your clinical instructor. Please bring your clinical experience objectives, your CPR certification card, Driver’s License, Immunization Record and your CPI (or other assessment tool as indicated by your school).
There is a cafeteria on site, as well as a kitchen to prepare and store food if needed.
