Parenting Group for Parents of Children with ADHD
Two million school age children have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Children with ADHD have difficulty with attention, impulse control, and their activity level. Facilitated by Saint Anthony's Psychological Services professional staff, the Parenting Group provides education on ADHD, tips for managing schedules, effective discipline, tips for working with your child’s school system, as well as providing support from individuals who share your experience.
Support Group for Children with ADHD
While parents are attending the Parenting Group, trained professional staff from Saint Anthony’s Psychological Services will work with your child with ADHD. This program will help children improve their self esteem and self management of behaviors, such as staying on task and complying with requests while participating in fun and educational activities. The groups meet once a week, simultaneously for six weeks.
