Years of Change for Girls - Youth Program

The changes that take place when maturing from a girl to a young woman can be confusing, frustrating and a little overwhelming at times. This free program focuses on growth and development. Girls and adult participants will learn about basic anatomy, physical, emotional and mental changes that take place, the importance of taking care of themselves through this special time, and adds an emphasis on good communication. Other topics touched are peer pressure, personal hygiene and healthy lifestyle choices.
Designed for girls, ages 9 – 12, to be accompanied by an adult parent or caregiver.
