Radiation Oncology
Doctors who use radiation therapy to treat individuals with cancer are Radiation Oncologists. As specialists in the field of oncology, these specialists are experts in the administration of radiation used in cancer treatment and/or pain control. Radiation treatments are given either alone or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy for a variety of cancers, such as breast, prostate, lung and head/neck.
